Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dosette platform operated by Simulabs Technologies Inc. ("Dosette," "we," "our," or "us"), including our OSCE mock exams, pharmacy MCQ question bank, practice tools, and related educational services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or credits, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Educational Purpose Only

The Service is provided solely for educational and exam-preparation purposes. Dosette is an independent training platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC), NAPRA, or any licensing or regulatory body.

Content on the Service, including mock stations, practice questions, answer keys, explanations, scores, and feedback, is intended to support learning. It is not official examination material, professional advice, or a guarantee of exam readiness or licensing outcomes.

Question Bank and Content Accuracy

Important: We prepare our OSCE materials and MCQ question bank carefully, using reasonable professional judgment and available technology. Nonetheless, practice questions, answer options, explanations, scoring, and related content may occasionally contain errors, ambiguities, outdated information, or options that are incomplete, misleading, or incorrect.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Absolute accuracy of every question, answer option, explanation, or assessment result cannot be guaranteed.
  • You are responsible for verifying important clinical, regulatory, and examination information against official and current sources.
  • You should not rely solely on Dosette content when preparing for or sitting any official examination.

If you believe you have identified an error, please report it to info@dosette.ca. We may correct or update content at our discretion, but we are not obligated to do so within any particular timeframe.

No Guarantee of Exam Results

Use of the Service does not guarantee that you will pass any examination, improve any score, obtain registration or licensure, or achieve any other academic or professional outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dosette is not responsible for any claim that you failed, underperformed on, or were disadvantaged in an official exam because of alleged errors, ambiguities, misleading content, or incorrect answers in our question bank, mock exams, feedback, or other Service materials.

Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Certain features require a paid subscription, credits, or other purchase. Prices, billing intervals, and plan features are described at the time of purchase. Unless a specific written refund policy states otherwise for a particular product, fees are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law or as expressly stated by us.

Where we, in our sole discretion, agree to provide a remedy related to alleged content errors or similar complaints about the educational materials, our maximum obligation is a refund of the subscription or product fees you actually paid to us for the affected purchase, as described under Limitation of Liability below.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading educational content.

Limitation of Liability

Maximum remedy: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service, these Terms, or any alleged errors, ambiguities, or inaccuracies in our OSCE materials, MCQ question bank, answer options, explanations, scoring, or feedback shall not exceed the amount of subscription or product fees you actually paid to Dosette for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim. Where we provide a remedy for such claims, that remedy is limited to a refund of those fees and nothing more.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dosette and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, exam opportunities, licensure outcomes, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

You agree that the fee refund described above is your sole and exclusive monetary remedy for claims related to educational content accuracy or exam-preparation outcomes, to the extent permitted by law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, or redistribute account access or paid content without our permission
  • Copy, scrape, or systematically extract question bank or station content
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

The Service, including questions, scenarios, software, branding, and other materials, is owned by Simulabs Technologies Inc. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal educational purposes only.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page. For material changes, we may provide additional notice by email or through the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you reside, courts located in Ontario shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
